Día importante, histórico. Un encuentro que se realiza en un país como Libia, de alta importancia para todos los actores internacionales y de la mano del ministro de Asuntos Exteriores del gobierno libio de Benghazi, Issa Majeed Mansour y el consejero especial del primer ministro de Guinea Bissau, Mohamed Jamil Derbah.
Desde Adeje a Benghazi. El paso de Derbah hacia este encuentro lleva aparejado numerosos acontecimientos, desde la oficina de asuntos africanos allá por 2018 hasta su nombramiento oficial como consejero especial del primer ministro de Guinea Bissau. Ahora los asuntos son de calado, llevan aparejados compromisos claros y rotundos como el celebrado ayer, por cuanto que hablamos de unas miradas oficiales sobre asuntos y cuestiones que tendrán su correlato a nivel europeo y como no internacional.
Ayer se trataron temas de cooperación no solamente entre ambos gobiernos africanos, sino además temas de calado internacional como el de la inmigración en Libia, donde Derbah apunto su experta opinión y donde conoció de primera mano lo que considera el ministro de Exteriores libio.
Derbah señaló que además se puso sobre la mesa el posible papel que puede tener Canarias e indicó que podría ser un lugar de encuentro tanto de este gobierno libio como el de Guinea Bissau y de otros gobiernos, aunque se reservó sus nombres por discreción y prudencia.
Issa Majeed Mansour es un político muy bregado en Libia. Tuvo un papel clave en los últimos acontecimientos del país y tiene un papel muy relevante en el Sur del país, tanto que lo ha llevado hasta su cargo ministerial en el gobierno de Benghazi.
