El primer ministro Abdul Hamid Dbeibah ha confirmado su disposición a asistir a una reunión propuesta por el enviado de la ONU, Abdoulaye Bathily, en la que participarán partes clave de Libia.
"Estamos dispuestos a participar y apoyar cualquier esfuerzo serio para que las elecciones sean exitosas", dijo el primer ministro en una declaración televisada el martes.
Reiteró la voluntad de su gobierno de abrirse con todos los esfuerzos e iniciativas encaminados a generar confianza y avanzar hacia las elecciones.
Elogiando la iniciativa de Bathily, Dbeibah recordó la invitación del enviado de la ONU a los líderes libios para resolver las disputas relacionadas con las leyes electorales y centrarse en alcanzar una base legal y constitucional sólida para que las elecciones tengan éxito.
"No hay lugar para caminos secundarios y no permitiremos nuevas etapas de transición", subrayó Dbeibah al presentar una propuesta para crear un organismo supremo para supervisar las elecciones, con la participación de todos los partidos.

Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has confirmed his readiness to attend a meeting proposed by UN Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily involving key parties in Libya.
“We are ready to participate and support any earnest efforts to make the elections successful,” the PM said in a televised statement on Tuesday.
He reiterated his government's keenness to open up with all efforts and initiatives aimed at building confidence and progressing towards elections.
Praising Bathily's initiative, Dbeibah recalled the UN envoy's invitation to Libyan leaders to settle disputes related to the electoral laws and focus on reaching a solid legal and constitutional basis for the polls to succeed.
"There is no room for side paths, and we will not allow new transitional stages," Dbeibah underscored as he unveiled a proposal to establish a supreme body to supervise the elections, with the participation of all parties.
